This site marks a new chapter for me. After 32 years as a freelance journalist, I’ve recently stepped away from the profession but not from storytelling. I was born and educated in the UK, and now proudly call Canada home. With more time to spend in theatres (a prospect I’m very much enjoying), creating this platform felt like a natural next step. And yes, credit where it’s due: a friend’s talented son brought the site to life for me. Thank you!

 

As for the reviews, they’ll be candid and direct. That’s how I’ve always approached my work. In the past, that honesty occasionally came with backlash, everything from online hostility to face-to-face confrontations. So for this venture, I’ve chosen to remain somewhat anonymous. Those I reach out to first are free to connect anytime.

 

What you’ll find here is simply one person’s perspective: a regular theatregoer with a lifelong love of the arts, sharing reactions to what’s on stage.
